• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Is how I see us lining up if no one else comes in
Take Out Cullen and put in Kone, then I'm happy with that line up. Having Cabango back would make it near perfect. I don't think it's suddenly going to wave a magic wond if a striker and Defender comes in before the game but I just don't see us winning. I see it as

Swans 0, Middlesbrough 4
Swans 2, Crawley 0
Swans 1, Sheffield Utd 3
Swans 1, Watford 1

Then after that I think we will pick up.

Finally it begins again

Expectations were high a month ago and now seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel after our friendlies and injuries that were picked up highlighting the lack of depth in key areas of the pitch

Still going to lead with blind optimism though and shoot for 2-0 to Swans

Yes the injuries have highlighted the lack of quality and depth we have at the moment and in all honesty if the club REALLY wants to be up there at the end of the season we need a squad like brum have built and to be fair like wrexham are buying in, we unfortunatly are not in their financial position never mind the 3 teams that have just come down, so lads and lasses as we are we must be realistic and realise this is going to be a hard long slog and a mid to higher finish is far more within our grasp even though i want us up there at the end

Good progress would be a top 10 finish. Finishing in the bottom 8 for me would be a poor return considering the recruitment we have done. I can see a similar LW comment coming from AS about players adapting to this league.
