It seems ridiculous to say we need to replace the goal scoring of a defender who scored 5 goals, but that made Darling our third top scorer...

Nope i meant if we need to replace darlings goals, of which their were, 3 in the league, who gives a toss about the cups. Our current striker vipotnik only scored 4 league goals last year, so if we get a striker that scores 7 that'll do it.

You have to laugh. Think we all saw this coming. All credit to the Swans for not cracking under pressure. They put their foot down and said we are not having it. Now it might still be the case we could still sign him, but I think not. Who knows. But what a mess of a club that Wycombe is. 7m in January to 5m to now this.

Happens to us all sometimes.

Vip scored seven goals in I believe 23 starts. Almost one in three. Considering that Luke Williams had no idea what to do with him or any of our other attacking players for 6/7 months of the season that's not a bad return IMO.

I don't think he's a fabulous striker, but I do think he's more than capable of adding another five or six to that tally given the service, a total that would have put him in the division's top ten goalscorers last season.

I don't mind using him as cover there now and again, but from what I saw on Saturday it would be wasting a superb midfielder. Looked like Leon in his pomp.

Bit harsh on Wycombe, they've got to start high to get as much as possible and there's still plenty of time for them to sell him.
