Maybe he needs a full season and then a coach announcement that Cullen is ahead of him in the packing orderIdah had two great chances to score and failed to make the keeper work with either. He's looking a bit duff at the moment.
Even if the refs view was blocked (it shouldn’t have been) then I’ve no idea how the assistant has missed that. He’s got the same angle as 100s in the ground and it was obvious that Vipotnik was pulled back. The VIP penalty appeal gets no less obvious every time I see it
Vipotnik looked duff not that long ago. Give him a chance.Idah had two great chances to score and failed to make the keeper work with either. He's looking a bit duff at the moment.
Not saying that VIP is out penalty taker or that we would have scored if it was given, but officials have denied him a perfectly good goal last week and a clear cut penalty this weekEven if the refs view was blocked (it shouldn’t have been) then I’ve no idea how the assistant has missed that. He’s got the same angle as 100s in the ground and it was obvious that Vipotnik was pulled back.
Not the only reason we lost but I’d say that’s as blatant a pen that you’re going to see not given all season.

Cullen clearly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and has his limitations but if we’re going to a front 2 I’d think he’d be far better as the second striker linking up play as seen in the short period against Forest.Maybe he needs a full season and then a coach announcement that Cullen is ahead of him in the packing order
Sheehan wears his heart on his sleeve. What makes you think he’d pretend to be angry with the ref just to deflect attention? Would be completely out of character. The refs have not been great, but they never are. This is just performative to deflect from the current performances.
Why did we not use more subs?
In what way has our schedule been generous? That's a horrendous shoutPositives
1) VIP looks to have some real class about him. He is making us look better going forward than we are with his finishing in the box on absolute scraps
2) Inoussa. Not enough end product but there is something there.
3) We look defensively organised and solid.
Negatives
1) We do not create enough and this is a regular thing now.
2) Yalcouye does not offer enough on the ball to separate him from Franco and our midfielders are all too similar. I do not know if Widell is the answer but he needs to be tried.
3) We have not played well against a good side this season and our schedule so far has been very generous to us.
4) Why are we not trying new things? Two subs today was inexscusable. If we are trying to find solutions and we fail I will be much more forgiving.
Question Marks
1) Early days with Idah so I am not going to overreact. But it does not look great right now. He does not look in great shape and considering the cost, it looks like a huge gamble.
2) Key. He has struggled so far this season and if you are being harsh, looks like the weakness in the back 5 players.
It’s nothing like Martin’s brand of football. Or Williams’. But there were too many times when we passed the ball backwards and allowed Millwall to regroup. Particularly Ronald.Absolute dross.
No incision, no invention, no risk taking in the final third. Hesitant, ponderous. It's like having Martin back
