Frustrating game today but I thought we were a little bit better in forward areas, bit more incision to us in the first half before we struggled when they dropped into shape in the second.

Our midfield at the moment is far too easy to play against though. I’m not sure if it’s Yalcouye and Galbraith venturing too far forward or Stamenic being just a few yards higher than he should be but we get turned so often in central areas.

Gotta get better defending in the air as well considering the height we have available, we don’t want to develop any bad habits.

Overall, an improvement on recent home games even if the result wasn’t there.

I may be in the minority but I thought we played well & enjoyed the game

Every team we have played against this season look decent which I think backs up how stronger the league is

We aren’t going to get many easy games this year

It’s funny how we all see games so differently.

I spend most games thinking that the standard in this league is absolutely shocking. Maybe it’s false memory of what it was like in the season we went up, but I just remember it being so much better.

We did ok in the first half. Some of the 2nd half was troubling though. We dont know what the best team is yet. Benson also looked like dogshyt(as well as Idah), but we all know what is capable of. We have a lot of players . It will take time.

Another frustrating performance. We're told that we need to have more tempo, well let's see it in our play.
Didn't use all our subs again for fresh legs.
How many times did we give up possession so easily when attempting to build up moves.
We need to click soon as our only wins have been against the Sheffield teams.
We should have had a penalty but didn't do enough to win this game.
Take away the ending against Forest the rest of our performances have been must do better.

Well that pragmatic style of football with midfielders concentrating more on running than getting the ball down and trying to create chances was boring as anything.

Ref didn't help us on the pull on Vipotnik...clear pen from where I was.
So many players off it today,Key needs to be dropped but unfortunately our only option would be putting Galbraith at RB.

Felt like we pushed but never really looked like scoring and Millwall should have made it 2-1 when we virtually handed it to them by pudding about at the back.

Idah just seems to get worse, it's looking more and more like a waste of a few million on him.

Vipotnik though, he is looking so confident at the moment and I think he is crying out for a no 10 to link up with.

We need to go back to a 4-2-3-1 if we want to push on.

It’s more competitive because mediocrity comes as standard.

So an in form striker throws himself to the floor instead of tapping the ball into the net? Sometimes referees need to shake themselves and not try to be the smartest man on the planet!
The other push by Cooper was also a penalty - but fuck me the incident with vipotnik was as clear a red card and penalty as you will ever see - what a fuckwit!!!!

I think you’re right about formation. I thought that’s what we were doing today, but Yalcoule or however he’s spelt, kept dropping back and no one seemed to be running beyond him. Is that what was happening ‘in the flesh’.?

I agree with you. We should be burning out our wingers by sixty minutes and then replacing them with our other two wingers

Move the ball fast to their feet so they can isolate full backs. Instead it’s either coming to our wingers from orbit or it takes ten passes to get there by which time he is taking two defenders up the arse
I’d agree with that too. Should be using 4 subs a game and giving the new lot a good 25 mins. If the players know they’re going to be replaced they can go flat out for 60-65 mins.

Yeah, pretty much.
