• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I take my hat off to those who brave the weather to head to the game this evening.
I’ve got a season ticket but didn’t give much thought to driving down after work and watching this garbage.

We are shapeless and error ridden just like Saturday.

There is no creativity absolutely anywhere in this team or any resemblance of a plan or pattern of play. A team of uncoached strangers hoping for a bit of luck.
Something is off. And I have been waving the Sheehan flag. I don't know if its Sheehan or back room staff, but we are doing the same thing over and over again. Pass backwards. It's almost looking like a William's or Martin team. Emotions are high for me but it's getting concerning.

The change of formation's not working. Key on at half time, Franco off, Galbraith back in midfield. Possibly Vip on for Idah too.
The formation is ok. The issue is that playing with a 10 sort of means you pick a 10 (obvs that’s all gone to crap now anyway).

Where is the urgency though? Again we are second to every ball. And our passing is shocking.

The boos at half time do not surprise me
Comms trying to pass it off as anger at the ref but other than maybe not giving what I think wasn’t a penalty he’s done nothing wrong

The boos are for the scandalous performance again from the swans

Lose this and draw or lose Saturday and he's offski
I do wonder how ruthless these new owners are? Williams was given to much time. Martin as well. If you are gonna rip the plaster off, dare I say it, they have to do it quick. Something is really off. Again I want Sheehan to succeed but why are players literally going backwards.

It would be more than 11 games.
Sorry smurff, you didn't answer. Is that 12 games or 2 years? Did you hear the boos at halftime? From loyal fans that pay their "very hard earned money" to watch this week I week out. Are they also wrong? And you are still right?

Lack of maturity/experience by Yalcouye, apart from that we have been toothless again and unable to mount any kind of meaningful attack. Take Franco off put Galbraith in mid and reinstate Key for 2nd half, going to need something to happen, but it's hard to feel optimistic after watching that 45

I can't agree, Lisa. Galbraith was MOTM for NI in midfield against Germany, so we lose his hugh influence in midfield tonight because Sheehan won't take a chance by playing a youngster at right back. I'd have given Casey a shot there, the kid had looked impressive every time he's played and is a threat at set pieces. Or the Chelsea boy.

Of course it was a red. You can’t do that. There wouldn’t be a referee that didn’t give that.
Do what?! Can't walk towards someone now? He didn't stick his head in. The defender pulled his back to make it look like he did ffs
