Some of the comments are unduly harsh today I think.

The formation was a LOT better. Albeit Widell should quite obviously be playing as the 10 rather than Cullen. He’s been the brightest spark in the last two games in terms of creating something.

More energy shown as well. And two great finishes.

Largely more solid at the back.

And t9 be honest, we needed a win today and we got it.

There are of course frustrations but a glimmer of hope imo.

Onwards.

Apart from two moments of sheer class from Vip, that was an excruciating watch. We are so poor in so many aspects of the game. Its very disappointing after all the summer optimism. The main deficiency today for me was the lack of tackling and closing down in our half. We're sitting way too deep and not getting in the faces of attackers BEFORE they reach our area.
In hindsight, I now enjoyed it from start to finish 😆😆😆

Fuck me, we actually won today.

I was totally on edge and uncomfortable for the eighty minutes Fawanews allowed me to see. I expected Norwich to score every time they attacked, and I expected us to feck it up every time we attacked. That's why Vip's second was such a surprise.
I'm wondering if I need an 'attitude adjustment', you know, see a psychaiatrist or something.

Positives:
Three points
Seeing two quality strikes
Some of the play in the first thirty minutes

However this hasn’t done much to appease the growing negativity in the fan base and you could really hear this today up towards the hour mark. Not much entertainment factor involved in what will be an easily forgettable game. And it was cold.

Desperately needed a win, but got it through 2 wonder strikes. We need a lot more to us than that but we had very little else. Real problems remain. Need shot of Eom and Cullen and get in a 10 and competition for Key in January

The lack of creativity and zip in the final third of pitch is holding us back. Whilst we might be missing a player or two, I still think Sheehan could tinker with the tactics a bit more than what he has done.

Great to have the win and 3 points.
At the moment 1 win isn't going to change the current negativity around especially due to performances.
Add how fans are starting to view A.S. with his tactics and line uos.
We have 4 wins but they have been against the current 4 teams at the bottom of the table..
Hopefully the win can be a confidence booster but I still feel some honesty needs to be looked at.

2 piledrivers by Vip, Ron hit the Post, not a great watch but some green shoots appeared, a few better moments of positive play but yes still a long way to go. Widell should've been on for Cullen well before the changes were made. Still it's 3 points so not going to be too critical
