• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Yalcouye, Franco, Stamenic, Benson to come on off the bench.. just keep the score down, we're not beating these, and if we do, we need a prayer and hope the footballing gods are with us.. I'd think we'd all bite hands off for a penalty shootout
I agree with the lineup for the most part (though I expect Fisher to play instead of Vigs as he is the "cup goalkeeper"). However I doubt we will see Yalcouye, unless I am mistaken I believe that a straight red for violent conduct is usually a 2 match ban

Yeah, 2 yellows is 1 game ban, the t*t what he is! You know what that means though, super Jay Fulton has to play 90 minutes against Reijnders and Foden.. may God protect the ginger one (checks odds on a Fulton yellow)

The only certainties in life are death, taxes and Fulton yellow cards.

I usually have 2 or 3 of those on the beach during my day trips to Portugal. Done it 4 times now 😁 Unfortunately, the flight schedules don't make that possible now.:(
Was there last week in the camper, a regular getaway for us

On a slightly better note, at least one of banned games is in the cup.

As much as it worries me about having Fisher in goals, it would be really unfair to drop him for this one.

Could play galbraith and stamenic with Widell at 10 in theory, although it'll be fulton won't it

That would be my preferred midfield trio. I have a sneaky feeling that we will see Fulton start.

I think he will go stronger you have to really.

Give the boys a game. 👍
Save the team for Satutday. 🙂
We're not going to win anyway.

Disagree with a few comments on here that expect us to name a second string side. Sheehan's got nothing to lose, but an awful lot to gain with a result (or even a good performance), so think he might go for it. Few changes might be fair enough - Tymon, Vigs for me - but definitely not the entire reserves.

Wonder if Idah gets the start too, seeing as he's both our backup forward but also used to Champions League games feeding off scraps?

(Insert joke about feeding off scraps playing for the Swans every week etc)

On the positive side the full stadium will fill the coffers and there’ll be plenty of media coverage. Charlton more important though. Hope Fisher in goal - give Vigs ankle a rest. Give Tymon a rest and start with the Chelsea boy. VIP first half only.
Lol - there is ZERO wrong with Vigs ankle - the message goes in for a tactical stoppage and the keeper goes down because he doesn’t have to leave the pitch for 30 seconds.
The biggest tell is Vig gets “treatment” Fisher doesnt even flinch on the bench 😂
