• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Looks like a 5-3-2, with the full backs expected to support when going forward.
I am likely wrong, but I don't see a 5-3-2

BBC has 5-4-1 but I don't see that either.

Is Samuels-Smith going to be the LCB of a three?
And is Widdell going to play left side of midfield?

For me it will be a 4-2-3-1 with either Tymon or Samuels-Smith on the left wing, Widdell to play in the centre of the 3.

Would have liked to see Benson get some minutes from the start and maybe rest Tymo.

It’ll be 4-0 or 5-0.

I can’t see us scoring more than that.

Nah, I’m expecting a total humping of that magnitude. I just hope we keep some dignity. I suppose ‘anything can happen in the cup’, but I expect to scuttle off and settle down to traitors at 9pm having seen enough. If not, we’ve done well.
‘Scuttling’ off to Monny won’t get you there for 9, mun

You’re increasingly sounding like one of those cheap star sign reports.

‘Change is imminent’.

That could mean absolutely anything couldn’t it.

‘You will make changes to your life after a chance encounter’…
Fair point Lis.

Change has to be imminent though, no ?

We invest massively in a top 6 squad yet ‘invest’ in a sub-standard coach who is clearly just a fans’ appeasement hedge.

That hedge has played out…..in so many fabulous ways 😉

This is the description from the OS. It looks like it is the same formation as usual, but with Tymon out left and Inoussa out right.

Fisher starts in goal, with Casey slotting in alongside Cameron Burgess, Samuels-Smith and Josh Key in defence.

Widell joins Goncalo Franco and Ethan Galbraith in the middle of the park, with Josh Tymon and Inoussa set to provide the width.

Idah leads the line for Swansea.

Much as it pains me to agree with you…

I do think there is a disconnect between off field aspiration and management, yes.

Do I think we’ll change it quite yet? Probably not to be honest. Unless something strange happens and I don’t think it’s going to despite rumour…

I think we'll likely defend something similar to the above shape (likely with widell and Inoussa flipped), but will likely attack in more of a 4-3-3 with either Tymon or Inoussa (depending on the state of play) functioning as the "LW" and Widell as the "RW."

Just a guess.

Could be a double bluff? Maybe Sheehan has been watching Celebrity Traitors?
Could well be. To be honest, if City are on their game tonight, it's probably not going to matter where our players are supposed to be lining up...

I need a lie down.
