• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I was going to defend AS a bit by saying that you expect a professional footballer to be able to deal with that.

Then he brings on one of the infamous Krap twins. Ronnie Krap.

We've invested heavily in our squad which should equate to improvements on the pitch, but it isn't equating to that. Individual errors are not my point, the whole squad performance is. It's like a broken record watching them game after game.
Investing heavily in a squad means nothing if you buy mostly shite. The only two good players we have signed are Burgess and Galbraith. And one of them was free. The rest are, at best, underwhelming, at worst, cack.

We could sack Sheehan tomorrow, we'd probably get a little bounce, but most of this lot would very quickly just go back to being rubbish. More than enough evidence by now for several of them

Our squad is better than these performances but it also might not be as good as we thought. By the week our window looks not quite as exciting as we first hoped in August.
I still feel like it’s hard to judge. Burgess and Galbraith have been decent in my eyes. Feels like we’ve hardly seen Inoussa and Yalcouye. Stamenic has been in and out for different reasons. Considering how bad our underlying numbers are, the fact that we’re up and down results wise probably means there’s a decent baseline of quality there.

If we could actually attack and create chances then the Key mistake would not have even been relevant. We are still good defensively but these mistakes become meaningful if we do not score ourselves.

Cullen has been shit and Widell gets hooked
His decisions are generally poor. That’s what should and probably will do for him. There’s no learning happening.

I still fancy 2-2. Is that insanity kicking in?

And, your protestation is admirable but you're talking tosh

The only consistent players we have at the moment are Tymon and, to a slightly lesser degree, Vipotnik.

The rest need a kick to play as a team.

We MUST get back to basics here! The team we have is capable of so much better!

If we played until Friday I don’t think we would score - we’re absolutely awful.
Something has to happen in the international break to end this misery.

Sheehan Excuses will be Preston have a good home record and we are tired after recent games. 😂😭

Hope we’ve set up at the back for our own freekick…
