People seem to be talking about him as though he was Klopp’s right hand man.
He was a development coach at Liverpool. He’s worked almost exclusively with age group football until very recently.
If they appoint him I’m sure we will hope for the best and be fully supportive but to say it’s a gamble is a massive understatement. It’s verging on the club buying a raffle ticket. Could win but far more likely to be a waste of money.
Managers need to be given an opportunity at some point. If we do appoint him, I won't be writing him off before one of his teams has kicked a ball.
