Miles difference between the two. Yes Cabango hasn't been great the last few games but look at the amount of goal saving clearances/tackles he did at the start of the season.

Him and Vigs were bailing Burgess out 2/3 times a game at the start it was never going to be sustainable.

As for him being left footed I don't really care if he costs us 4/5 chances a game from his passes out.

We'd be 5/6+ points better off with Darling in the team and that's not because Darling is an unbelievable CB.

Both have questionable distribution and errors in them. The goals conceded this season have both of them at fault especially from crosses and set peices.

Ive advocated for Casey playing in our back four regularly since September whether CB or RB . I'm no Burgess fan or Cabango for that matter.

Having reflected on yesterday we were a little unlucky not to get a point. The last 5 mins of the first half and first 20 mins of the second half we dropped our level, that was disappointing. But other than that we were good value.

I think if we can ship a couple out and get one or two in that suit Matos more in January, we will be ok.

I know a couple I’d like to see walk the plank. Talking of planks, it has to be Key & Ronald.
Also we should possibly also recall Wilson, Congreve and Lissah.
You can’t have too many options, if your in a relegation battle

It was an all-timer stinker of a sub appearance from Key yesterday. He'd be one of the first out of the door for me, definitely.

He was given the service twice, a bit to do with the first one but should have buried the second one.
Yes, he should have done better with those chances, espically the one he hit straight at the keeper. However there is no one else in the current squad better than him.

After right back I would be looking at adding another striker, because the one we bought in the summer is more of a stinker than a striker.

I think we'll be fine. We'll get better and he'll learn about Ronald, Cullen and Key soon enough. My biggest worry at the moment is Burgess in defence. He looks very clumsy, and we can't afford to keep giving away daft sloppy goals. I'd hoped he would help Bango up his own game, but it's more like Calamity Cam.

Yeah I don't know what's happened to Burgess recently. I thought he was excellent in the first couple of months of the season but he's definitely gone off the boil since end of October/early November.

Cabango has never been good on the ball, which is why Darling was a great partner for him. They both complimented each other so well with Cabango being a stopper and Darling being a sweeper who took the build up responsibility away from Cabango.

It's just squad building 101 and we failed at it again. You look at what you have in-house assess their profile/weaknesses/strengths and sign someone who will compliment that player.

So what did we do? Literally sign a carbon copy of Cabango who does the exact same thing but at a lower level and expected it to work? Where is the logic?

I know he's made a few mistakes but I see potential in Casey and I absolutely think it's worth giving him a run of games along side Cabango.
