And yet, in that link you posted, it says:

"All opening, final day, and midweek fixtures in the Sky Bet EFL will be shown live, as will all games played on Bank Holidays including Easter, Boxing Day and New Year's Day"

Tomorrow's is a midweek game so it should be televised. It seems they make it up as they go along
It does seem strange. You’d think they’d get more watching (with lower away attendances) on a Monday night than on the Bank holidays with 3pm kick off

Thanks for the info though both 👍

Oxford fan in peace. Really enjoyed the away game at the end of last season at your place - great entertainment and a nice rapport between both sets of fans. Didn't enjoy this season so much although met plenty of Jacks in the pub before and after the game and everyone was up for a good laugh.

Just thought I'd let you know that the Blackbird (or Bird) is a home fans pub despite it appearing on your official website. Although as long as you don't wear colours or shout the odds you'll most likely be welcomed. Also, since the matchday guide was published, the buses have changed and you can now get the 3A direct from the station to the ground. The bad news is that they only leave every half hour and I'm not sure what time the last one back to the station is after the game, plus it gets pretty packed with both home and away fans going back to the station.

Enjoy the game (but not too much!)
Hello Mardy, thanks for the information. Yes the match at the end of last season was a great way to finish the season. 2,600 away fans in a close to 19,000 crowd. Lovely weather, plenty of goals and Cardiff City getting relegated. This season we are both back to the grind. You currently without a manager (we know how that feels recently) and names being banded about like John Terry who as we know has ruled himself out.

I have been up to the Kassam Stadium twice and have always enjoyed my visits, even with that ground being out of the way somewhat. I noticed that a railway station is going to open not that far from this current ground, just in time for you to move to your exciting new ground.

May the best team win tomorrow night. It should be a good atmosphere with it kicking off at 7.45pm and a full away end (which you get in most of the Championship matches at your ground). 24 hours to go.

Line Up - I Want

Vig

Galbraith
Cabango
Burgess
Tymon

Stamenic
Yalcouye
Widell

Ronald
Vip
Inoussa

I don't think Matos is gonna pick Yalcouye over Franco though. But Widell think will start. Eom to come on as sub
Think I would go for same line up, maybe change Ronald for EOM, but it’s nice to bring EOM on against tired legs

Got a feeling we may see Key start in this one moving Galbraith into midfield

Personally, still think we are missing a trick with Casey not being RB giving Galbraith a goal threat and some creativity in the final third.

For the life of me I still can’t see what Ronald offers that gets him a near automatic spot in the team each week, he’s almost no threat in either a shooting or crossing position and his absurd theatrics are embarrassing and serve only to set up counter attacks for the opposition.
And Franco, flopping around instead of doing a ‘Leon’, frequent loose passes and moments of stupidity.

I’m sure we’ve seen glimpses of quality from these two, but at the moment they are glaring weaknesses, alongside the much maligned Key.

The question is;
Do we cash in and replace? Or try to revive?

I vote ‘cash in’ while we still can and get some grown ups in.

Like you said. I would be putting Casey into that role. But maybe Matos thinks it too defensive?

My mindset. Let's secure championship football and assess where we are at with Ronald and Franco. Personally if we could replace with better then I would be happy the issue we have really is, if we flog Ronald and let's say we brought in a Benson, we would of ended up with a worse player. Ronald shows glimpses but we need better. Franco to some extent as well.

They’re not mugs if they beat Soton, who have been in good form. We could really do with a win to get us moving again and push us further away from them, but a draw is pretty much a minimum requirement here.
