S25/26| The Official Match Thread | Derby 2 Swansea 0 | Att: 27,841 | 14/02/26 | The EFL Championship | Pride Park Stadium

It has felt like a. Martin performance which is the most damning endictment I can give
I just can't see that, at least for the first 75 mins. ~It's not like we weren't trying to move the ball quickly on transition. They were all camped behind the ball in their half, which meant we were bound to have to entice them out.

I’d say 1 step back. We’ve generally been pretty good imo, but a couple of weaknesses have been flagged up for a dose of reality. Lacking a punch and got pounded from old fashioned set piece tactics.
We need a Sinclair and an Ash.
We are certainly crying out for a winger who can contribute with goals for sure 👍

Don't post much anymore as life has taken over a bit.

The overreaction is quite spectacular.

6 points out of 9 and one bad day has us four steps back and screams of the return of Martin ball.

Pathetic.

Personally... That was worst we have seen in my opinion... We have played under Matos.. Since he has started to get this team to play his style... Players look like they are on holiday... Like many I'm angry not because of the loss... But we have been performing so well and set a good standard and just reverted back to old Russy and Sheehan styles football. Add bit of Williams into that.

Well. As long as we can learn from these types of games is my outlook from today.
I think that we have learned that we are nowhere near good enough to challenge the top 6 but we have seen signs recently that we can certainly push on and improve.

Frustrating day today.
Derby are top 6. One shot goes in first half and we beat them.

That said, we shouldn't be near top 6 if the league was any good.

Trust me, you are.

Head in the sand 👌
You're a scourge on this site, you should have stayed in retirement. Always bullying others. Didn't anybody tell you that the way you treat others in life, defines who you are? Is your home life that dismal that you feel a need to do this?

Is it though? It's the level of performance today. We can all take a loss. But it's the way we do it and today we was poor. Know one is forgetting the past performances.

Ignore him, Bluey 🫶🏼

No team will play 15 or 20 games and deliver consistent performances.

That shit house Eustace has had our number for years even as Birmingham manager. Tough, physical and hoof. All the things that Matos will work on between now and the summer.

Sadly there will be always days like this even if we were top of the league and running away with it.

Felt like the home team trying to break down Derby's 11 men behind the ball.

When we can't press the life out of a team because they have no interest in keeping the ball we will struggle - but hopefully when Walta gets up to speed and we can move Galbraith into midfield again we'll have the creativity to be able to create more.

You are right, it's fine margins Monnie.
If my auntie had balls and all that.

We need to learn from games like this. It's not the end of the world for sure despite today's results.

Not going to read this, it’ll be the usual overreaction from the Match Day thread heroes. We’ll have been shit, should be beating teams like this, Cullen killed puppies, etc etc.

Uppafuckingswans.
I've learnt I'm over sensitive, today.

Everyday is learning day 🤷🏻

Emotions are high. I understand, but the basics wasn't there today. Just seemed we didn't want to win today, seemed odd.
