I am no tactician. I don't know if its the players around him, or he needed that kick to take the shirt
Whatever it is, it seems like he has gone up a level. Not just a player who scores but doing the hold up and passing with brilliant goals. Idah wasn't the best tonight, but will need time, but still good competition.

Confidence. He's playing like he knows his manager has got confidence in him, like he's got confidence in himself and his team mates. It's a huge thing for players, especially forwards.

Dragging a player in and out of the side no matter how he plays and, let's be honest, playing an inferior option ahead of him as often as we have in the past is not going to do him any favours in that department.

It would be hard to say Vipotnik had anything last season given the largest part of it was playing under Luke Williams who saw service to his forward line as an optional extra rather than part of the game.
