Hard to score against brick wall defence and with no urgency in midfield.

we have missed some seriously easy chances in the last 3 or 4 games which would probably see us in the top 10, thats the difference. We are obviously improving and despite some mistakes our defence is not that bad (think we are top 5 for clean sheets)?

a full strength side would have gotten us in to the top 10 no problem.

So we appear to be at that dobbie stage under Rodgers. Lots of good build up play and nice areas but very little cutting edge Rodgers slotted Dobbie in and it clicked from there. Martin needs to find that.

If Frenchie and Paterson aren't both fit to play, he should try playing just one of them from the start and go with two strikers instead. Let piroe be the one to drop as he looks natural at it and will find space just in the hole as we have seem him do often already. Smith doesn't have an attacking bone in his body and the amount of moves that end with him is shocking. He plays deeper or not at all.

piroe dropping in with oba's pace in behind will work - we jsut need him to stay fit

We got 6 clean sheets the downside is we aint scored many in those 6 games. Whilst in the other 5 weve conceded 3 in every game! Proper jekyll and hide

I see we didn't have the shooting practise in training that I suggested we do!

As it is , as teacher says "shows promise, but could do better"

We have signed good players, with history of injury problems hence making the financials easier to deal with.

It’s a risk, and at the moment isn’t paying off.

I think we're most of the way there, but just lacking some cutting edge. Losing Laird from the start wasn't going to help with that, but understand that he needs a rest. Is it worth recalling Kyle Joseph from his loan, as a more attacking alternative than Latibeaudiere?

We need to find a way of creating chances, and I think Obafemi would give us much more directness in place of Korey Smith. Whilst he's not there though, I think Morgan Whittaker would have been a much better option and needs to be trusted more.

St Cooper didn’t trust him neither. Something strange there. When Cullen’s getting on before you in his current stage of development you might as well pack your bags.

Must be attitude the reason Whittaker doesn't get a look in. There can't be any other.

coventry''s left back (maatsen from chelsea) is the kind of player we need on the left.

LWB is a must for January imo, I like Bidwell but we need someone with pace

Different scenarios The previous manager was winning games and had Ayew and Lowe scoring.
What we currently have is not working and having given Cullen a fair run without success Martin appears reluctant to try Whittaker or combinations of Piroe Whittaker Cullen
