• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

A midfield three of grimes downes and fulton was the wrong choice in my opinion. None of them are attack minded players naturally and Dhanda was so poor he got hooked

Well I wanted to roll the dice rather than more Cooperball, I hope we haven’t rolled snake eyes.

Still early days
October/November we'll have a decent idea of where we'll be

Yes it's early days but you can surely see there's a lack of quality and creativity in the midfield and up front. For the second home game in a row and not a shot on target at half time. People on here clearly need to understand, you can have as much possession as you like but if you don't shoot at goal you are unlikely to get many points at the end of the day.

Poorest we’ve played under Martin but still more enjoyable than Cooperball.

I’m not expecting much in terms of results this season… just as long as we survive.

Well RM will have to get them scoring goals as we could be in the bottom 3.

Rubbish. Worst half so far this season

Am I the only one that thinks Grimes is awful? His passing (except for the easy backwards passing) is terrible. And he's the main reason everything is so slow. It's painful to watch.

Struggles to be consistent, always has. Had an excellent game on Saturday but ambling around today again. He's playing the Leon role so if he's not arsed we have no tempo

Lati also hasnt offered anything as an attacking wing back in this game so far, wont be surprised of we see Laird coming on half time or just after

Yeah but window isnt closed yet
Laird at rwb will make a huge amount of difference
I do think hes doing Piroe dirty not giving him more game time

We could try passing forward and getting people forward. That might work. That other thing as well…what was it called again? Oh yes, shooting. As you say, shooting might help. I’d start with Dhanda. Shoot him.

Exactly. As for Dhanda, thankfully he departed the scene on 37mins.

Pinging the ball around nicely but to little effect in the final third. Need to make moves into the box. There have been some attempts at splitting the defence but couple of offsides. Stoke are playing like we did under Cooper. Call be old fashioned but if we had a mobile Nr. 9 to get on the end of a couple of crosses.

For me our most exciting player is Brenda. I call him Steve Interesting Brenda now.

Still i am glad to see RM not afraid to make tactical changes in the first half

Shocking half of football. Tbh I dont think he has the players to play that style of football. Not good enough on the ball and no pace in side. No creativity in midfield and nothing up front. Why he picked such a defensive lineup is beyond me.
