• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Poor tonight... Still very early but the manager and this team needs to get its sh1t together quickly.

Positives.. Piroe, Laird, Downes, benda

Negatives... Grimes [just fucking leave already] Danda, Lati and clucASS

Stoke suck sh1t

Lowe was a waste of space again tonight... Gone right off the boil again.

Two f*****g weeks to overhaul a style of play, what are you expecting 😂😂 grow up and stop being a spoilt pedantic little child
With your obvious knowledge could you please what timescales we are looking at?

Longer than two weeks you fucking plum🤣🤣

I'd go 451 personally.

Benda
Manning
Cabango
Cooper
Laird

Lowe
Downes
Patterson in the hole
Grimes
Whittaker

Prior

Whittaker and lowe can both play as wide players who like to move inside and let the fullbacks overlap. Whether Patterson can do the playmaker role remains to be seen. Grimes would need to pull his finger out his ass too.

It’s going to be a bumpy one for certain. The big issue for me wasn’t tactics or style or even personnel. It was that so few players looked arsed. Like they don’t believe in things they are doing, or they simply can’t be arsed. That’s not good. Bristol has to bring more commitment and effort.

Grimes has to go.

Please, no more Grimes.

Who knows if things will turn around soon but we have 5 experienced players out injured. Not all might make the starting eleven but options are limited. It's totally frustrating but there is time for more changes in and out before the deadline We had a very young pairing in defence and players who hadn't played together as a team. Not making excuses as when I saw the fixture list for August I did think a very difficult run of games.

Grimes has to go as he's the one slowing us down, Martin has stated how good grimes is I do hope after the last two games his attitude has changed and I hope he acts quickly as we do not want to hit a slump, hopefully we will find out if martin has learnt on friday night.

I've also realised that eteb is bi polar.

Been watching longer than I wanna remember, and I've a real bad feeling bout this season. Looked grim last Saturday...but tonight was literally indescribable.

Does RM have the balls to drop Grimes? Let's see what he's made of. He was quick enough to bin Dhanda tonight, so there's hope.

Oh I agree. But that is what he has got to work with currently

You'll hear coaches, commentators, pundits say that you need to move the ball quickly. Especially if your game is based on possession, where you need to pull the opposition around to (a) tire them out and (b) make gaps appear. You'll never hear a coach say - move the ball around slower. Has no-one ever told Grimes that?

Defensively we were awful tonight. Players making school boy errors. With no creativity in midfield and very little up front I struggle to see where the goals are going to come from.
