Missed the last two games due to life events but surely sheezy must be given the job full time now. Look at the difference between him and the bald fraud, it's light years different.

Playing players in their proper positions since they were young, Sheeze Louise, rocket science.. Williams genuinely believed he was some visionary with a midtable championship outfit, Sheehan has basically said, defend in position, don't deviate, when the opportunity arises nick a goal.. Cooper done this.. but Plymouth gave hope that maybe he had a plan

Dimi is on the case for new players, and if you hadn’t crossed swords with him so much he may have come back on here and asked you to supply him some of your obscure transfer names for him to take a look at 🤣🤣
We’re not allowed to mention him now. He’s forbidden. Censored. By order.

He’s had a great start.

Lewis O’Brien a masterstroke. Best midfielder I’ve seen down here in a long, long time.

Do you think O'Brien was picked out by our scouting team? Screams of an agent offered signing to me. As great as he has been for us too, he absolutely should be for the money we're paying him a week, so in a sense it's not really a true test even if our scouts did select him. That type of player can't be the type we're looking at going forward. We'll see how Widell does, he's the real test.

Yes.

Loans will always play a big part this season, next season and every other. Its the championship.

Behave 🤣

So we can mention / criticise named members of the board, past and present, but we can’t mention him? The game really has gone if that’s true. Fuck my eyes.

I don't post often, but I've just changed my vote to supporting him as our next manager. I have never cared about a managers history, but rather what they do here. Two of our most successful managers came without pedigree in martinez and rodgers. This club has never been about names, rather than people who fit into the Swansea jigsaw puzzle. Sheehan fits us at the moment, so lets give the guy a chance.

Yes, but mainly up and coming youngsters.

Not seasoned, previously successful in this division Midfielders on 35k a week? Not for us anyway.

If Sheehan takes 7 points or better from the remaining 12, it would be a very brave person to not give him the job.

We were on our knees when he came in. There was all sorts of nonsense going on - kamikaze fullbacks, pitter patter poncing in midfield, wingers that couldn't/wouldn't wing, strikers not making runs, etc.

He's been an antidote to all that.

I'm still sympathetic to the idea he might turn out to be the new Garry Monk - something still nags at me about that - but if we're talking about working with what you've got and extracting the most out of limited resources, then I'm sorry, I refuse to believe that right now there's much better out there for our budgets and for the limited group of players we have.

It's Sheehan in for me, as long as we don't shit the bed in the last 4 games.
Nothing wrong with what you said there. I was very grateful to Sheehan after last season and was cautious in my criticism of him this time around, but I’m on record as saying I didn’t think he necessarily represented progress, and that was purely based on the awful football that we saw at the end last season.

Now, what this little extended run has clearly shown us is that he may have the tools in the toolbox to adequately assess the opposition and get the most out of an average to good championship side.

I’m starting to lean in a little more and if we discount a couple of awful games and excuse them on the account of ‘you can only play what’s in front of you’, the only real negatives against a struggling club appointing him are his inexperience and his association with the eras of Dickie Muff and the van driver.

Aye, give him the job because he has worked wonders and it's a pleasure to watch them again. When you look back, we were largely dreadful and depressing in the days of Luke.

Everything has changed - we can go away and take points off the best teams.

Give him the job and let him build next season's squad from a position of continuity and knowing the club.

Have you just made that £35k figure up off the top of your head again though?

What he’s on at Forest isn’t what he’d be on here. Players we’d sign would all come through scouting and data etc regardless of how proven they are.

Fact is we were heading towards relegation, quick time under Luke Williams, our captain jumped ship and its been turned around, whilst still saving money on what Grimes was per week here. Good start.
