If Sheehan takes 7 points or better from the remaining 12, it would be a very brave person to not give him the job.
We were on our knees when he came in. There was all sorts of nonsense going on - kamikaze fullbacks, pitter patter poncing in midfield, wingers that couldn't/wouldn't wing, strikers not making runs, etc.
He's been an antidote to all that.
I'm still sympathetic to the idea he might turn out to be the new Garry Monk - something still nags at me about that - but if we're talking about working with what you've got and extracting the most out of limited resources, then I'm sorry, I refuse to believe that right now there's much better out there for our budgets and for the limited group of players we have.
It's Sheehan in for me, as long as we don't shit the bed in the last 4 games.
