• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It's your opinion, it's neither right or wrong, it's just how you feel.

Doesn't help when you go at people like a bull in a China shop.

Happy to draw a line in the sand and move on if you are.
I'm sorry I didn't mean to go at people like a bull in a China shop, I'm probably suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts too

Oh wow 🙈

Onto the post.
Refreshing to see the % in favour of Sheehan staying next season has grown and rightly so.

Nice to see a poster or 2 stating that they have or are slowly changing their mind to Sheehan having it next season......well done those posters for showing honesty and strength 👍
Next 5 games for me and all goes well then I might be joining you lot.

He's shown he can mix it up and we could have scored a hateful last night and not doing so wasn't down to Sheehan.

cheers, I just find it difficult to for some reason
I get that.
But don't hold back for that reason. Speak to family or friends if easier. Somewhere comfortable & familiar for you in case you feel overwhelmed.
Or ring the number & speak anonymously. Benefits of a stranger is they're completely impartial and non judgemental.

Good points.

Would be happy for him to be given a fair crack with our new Owners (funds, ambition, drive etc) and our new best-in-lass recruitment apparatus - maybe a short-mid contract would suit all parties.

We have some proper young latent gems that are already blossoming under his stewardship and he's shown how decent grown-up management can deliver so much more than self indulgent selfish Martin-Willy types.

Edit - would prefer to trust our new Owners and best-in-class recruitment model to deliver a sexy, exotic left-field game-changer and reignite the Swanseway Edge

how am I then?
I was just saying - take a look at some of the recent press from our new Owners and do some googling about them. And check out the current PSR framework to see how tricky it is to deliver success given the fiscal constraints (no matter how wealthy our new Owners are)
(sorry to hear about your struggles, fella - take some of the friendly advice above and I look forward to more banter soon.....)
