Joking aside and I have made a lot of jokes about Nottinghill, LaJolla or whatever account he uses today. It's pretty sad that someone has to spend their time creating accounts to just wind people up. I spend alot of time on this forum as I like the insight and banter. But incredibly sad, he really needs help. I think we just ignore him. If it is him 😛😛. Maybe it's Martin or Williams? Who knows, who's cares.
He’s been on here before Martin and Williams were twinkles in the Swans’ eyes.

Different names then of course.

I haven’t read the other site to be honest, so if they are saying he should go on there that’s a strangely extreme view in my opinion.
It is, they make good arguments and points like we all have about yesterday, but seems they are unable to at least acknowledge VP improvement and how they all saying it felt like a William's and Martin game and all. Really extreme. I fear people will be extreme on Wednesday if we lose which is likely and Saturday?

La La is the next level poster that this best in class forum needs so badly following the site's top of the range investment and best in class modus operandi.

I haven’t seen anyone say he should go but quite possibly they are on social media sites? No idea.

Anyway, for what it’s worth, which is very little to be fair, any extreme reactions one way or the other at the moment seem to me to be misplaced.

We look like a nice team, definitely more solid at the back, but at the moment without that spark of creativity that can turn a nice team into a genuine candidate to do anything very much.

Whether we will improve creatively or not, at this point is impossible to predict. If we do, we stand a chance of pushing on, and if we don’t, we’ll probably have a solid season around the upper end of mid table. I’m sure we all hope for the former, but wouldn’t be devastated by the latter.

Someone, I can’t remember who, compared us to the promotion team. I don’t think that is a realistic comparison to be honest - we had a few in that team who were genuinely a class above.
For me so far, we are playing more entertaining football than we were, but have some way to go. We’re still too slow to create much.

We won’t really know until at least the end of October how the season will go.
Loads of them on Twitter, Lis. They’ve been out for him since he got the caretakers gig.

Like a lot of people on here and the other social media platforms, some paint themselves into a corner with their opinions, then find it hard to get out of it so just double down.

Listen up, lads, La Jolla is a site owner's dream. He makes some valid points and some chat designed to "stir the pot." More power to his elbow, I say.
.

Here's the thing.

The best thing about this Forum is we all have the very best interests of our Club at heart, no hidden faux agenda.

Swanjaxs has it bang on: it's ALL about friendly, jovial, upbeat, provocative, informative debate to draw eyes to this Forum and encourage more and more friendly, jovial, upbeat, provocative, informative debate.

Enhancing the younger Swans' experience is a must, drawing in fresh young blood into grown up debate is our responsibility.

Most other forums are clogged up with tired old armchair greys who choose to do nothing other than moan, bitch and gripe. This forum is definitely morphing away from that stereotype and drawing in fresh, upbeat spunky impetus.

The elbow is ever more greased........ the guns are gunning

Fair enough. I hadn’t seen that.
He wouldn’t have been my first choice initially to be honest but his results last season meant the club really had little option but to appoint him. And I think he’s doing a reasonably good job. And he seems to be a likeable, honest manager.

People need to give it time surely? I mean I thought his subs yesterday were poor but I’m sure that on reflection he will think the same. Let’s see where we are at the end of October.

Not everyone is Laudrup. Sadly. But he’s no Martin either. Thankfully.
I don’t know what people expect. I think some have gone quite mad this summer.

Agree with all of this.

The summer was very positive. Even if some of the signings don’t live up to expectations at least the squad looks more balanced than it has for years. However, the idea we’ve suddenly got a nailed on top 6 squad, if that’s what some think, is way OTT.

Sheehan is new to management and will obviously make mistakes (the subs yesterday as you mention), but there’s no way his job should be under threat after 5 league games, 8 points and 2 cup victories.

Pushing the playoff places until at least Easter would be great, but finishing anywhere from 8th-12th would be more than acceptable if some of the new players are ready to kick on the season after IMO.

Precisely.

If you were an investor it's pretty likely you would have hedged that bet in the same way : Immediate popular opinion prevails over short term ambition, for now........

We are excited to see what Plan A looks like, given the expertise and excellence of our best in class Recruitment team's prowess....
