Alan Sheehan.

To ditch him we first need to sign another DM to make sure there is distance between him and the first team. As I've been saying for weeks.

But some people still maintain the priority is a centre back or a striker...

Why can't Franco do that job? Him scuttling around with Widell and Galbraith ahead of him is our best midfield in my opinion.
If we bring in another starting midfielder, which of them misses out?

I think today showed that an O’Brien type of player would have made it a much different game
What would he have done?

The guy is busy and gets around the pitch but I think we need a lot more than that, namely one of our injured senior CBs, a winger who isn't looking to fall over at every opportunity and a tactical change to allow our striker to get involved in the game.

O'Brien was good for us but he only played 16 games. Part of the reason he looked so good was because he was replacing Grimes.

I reckon Galbraith will prove to be a far better player for us

Couple of things there

It's an extra bum on a seat I'm talking about, to make sure Fulton doesn't make match day squads ideally.

Secondly, Widell is quite clearly not a central midfielder, he's an attacking midfielder. The club even described him as such on their own website. He's competing with Eom, Ronald and Inoussa.

Why is AS trying to force a flat midfield three?

Seems to clear to me that an AM playing as an AM makes sense and creates more chances

You can be an attacking midfielder from a central position though, which is where I'd have him playing (with Franco behind).

He looked a bit lost out wide yesterday, quite awkward when the ball came to him on the touchline

Not sure about yesterday's game not seen anything of it, but O'Brien will be missed this season unless we bring a player similar in.
The Midfield area is the most important area on the pitch, from defence to attack. IMO

Excellent thread, Bluey.

Sheehan Out Now. 'Prompto' - STOP bowing to twp fans' sentiment and get the twp facker out, NOW.

Our new, new American owners deserve far better than this 2nd rate assistant fella.

A very very twp Hoofball merchant - he's lost our identity, our soul, totally.

Sheehan is a bit very tick in so, so many glaringly obvious ways :
- Fulton - wtff ?
- Pragmatic twp, boring, obvious shyte - So NOT us
- Got HIS (by all accounts) players in early, and still facked up
- Fulton - wtff ?
- No clue whatsoever up top - Cullen, #Offsides - NO SHOTS on goal 2ndhalf
- Zero Creativity
- Zero Entertainment
- Lackluster is now synonymous with Sheehan on Wikitonary
- Cullen lone striker + hoofball, wtf ?
- Subs - clueless, sub-optimal decision making
- Subbing our best attacking threat Ronald, wtff ?
- No shots 2nd half - wtf ?
- Galbraith ain't even a mini-LOB - out of his depth - play him deeper ffs
- Fulton - wtff !?

With Sheehan we're limping to mediocrity and a borefest of nothingness.

Our new Owners need to stop pandering to twp fans' sentiment and fack the twp, tick as fack fecker off, 'prompto'. NOW

Just sayin, on behalf of some very influentials.......
