You need to stop latching onto my posting , as if it backs your "Sheehan out, prompto" rhetoric. If you think I'm one of your crazy disciples then you're very badly mistaken. I criticised the team selection and in particular, the selection of Fulton, stating it COULD be his Achilles heel. You should have noted that I started by saying I want both Sheehan and the players to succeed, and why anyone would want otherwise is totally beyond my comprehension. So do me, and everyone else a favour, and keep your barmy views to yourself!

Spotlight now firmly on Sheeez and his diluted quorum - he needs to properly step up and deliver, 'prompto'.

Massive expectations from all key stakeholders - owners, commercial partners, proper fans, highly talented players.

Our American owners and the best in class recruitment apparatus has exceeded all expectations.

Sheeez needs to meet similar best in class levels - he now needs to show up, sweat our immensely talented assets and deliver a consistent brand of winning, entertaining, effective and efficient Swans footy - proper fans have exceedingly high expectations, we know what proper Swans footy looks like......

I know, and give him credit for that, but we have played 3 home league games now and you can't say it has been edge of the seat riveting football. Once again today for long spells, there is no goalmouth action. Their keeper today , apart from the 2 goals, had nothing to do. Against Watford, the first half, we never had a shot on target. In the team at the moment we have some quick players, Inoussa, and the Brighton loanee, but the football is slow and pedestrian. Today after 65 minutes we shut up shop and looked to hold on, there were another 32 minutes left to play, why didn't we look for a 3rd to put the game to bed. Posters on here , and I'm one of them, are disappointed with the crowds considering the players the owners have brought to the club, but I'm afraid on the evidence of the first 3 home games there doesn't seem to be a buzz about the football we are playing.

Obviously no cause for alarm, but I agree with a lot you've said there. We've transformed the team but we're still completely reliant on a lot of the time speculative crosses from deep to a forward who's strength isn't that. We are incapable of getting in behind. We still need a central attacking midfielder.

I do have a nagging thought that we have a very strong squad, but do we have the manager match?

There is definitely no buzz, the crowd's silence for long periods of the game today is a good indicator. I took my kids today and I can see they were bored, the first goal really took me by surprise because nothing was happening until that point. I think Sheehan will do a steady job and that's it, I have already resigned myself to the fact we will be watching steady eddy Steve Cooper type football and I will have to continue to romanticize the past of Martinez, Rodgers and Laudrup.

It’s become abundantly obvious that Sheeezy isn’t what we need nor deserve.

Our Owners have no doubt cleverly hedged the bet in appointing him (popular opinion etc) - and fully expect our Best In Class recruitment apparatus to press the right button at the right time, yet again.

Of course there are some positives to take out of the season so far, but seriously how would you persuade any fans to attend matches based on our first 3 home games this season. As Michu78 said , his kids were bored today, the stadium was quiet and very little action or excitement on the pitch. You, like me, have been critical of the attendances this season with the players the owners have brought in, but unfortunately if the football continues to be as mundane as the first 3 home games then attendances won't increase.

As usual all bit over reaction from certain fans. Chill out people. We are not suddenly going to be Real Madrid over night and anyone who is comparing Sheehan to Williams, Martin etc are mad. Plus really.... Saying we will be like Cooper team... Ummm... No.. Other than the taking foot off the gas today we was good. Yes not enough shots and needed more Urgency, but chill peeps. If you are rattled now god help you when we go through a rough time.
