A million times better than the last couple of snake oil salesmen
And this is the biggest point really, isn't it.

We were gaslit for 4 years that "the Swansea Way is back" when it was nothing of the sort. We needed to get back to basics under a manager who would restore standards.

This is a proper rebuild and it's going to take time. We're not going to start playing sexy football overnight. We're putting down foundations. The entertainment hopefully comes later but until then we should be grateful Sheehan's stopped all the nonsense.

One win off the auto spots
Last 16 of the cup with a home tie against Man City (again)

The performances haven't been stellar but there hasn't been a single game where I thought we were never out of the game

Under Cooper we were shithouses, under Martin and Williams were were a laughing stock, defined by our arrogance, but now we are an outfit that makes opposing fans and managers think ‘hang on a minute, if we’re not on it this lot could do a number on us’. That’ll do for now.

I'm glad we're consistently picking up points, but it's a valid concern to raise that we've basically played well for two and a half games this season - Sheffield United, Wednesday, and the first half against Hull. With the new squad, you'd expect us improve with time, but it still isn't clear what Sheehan is really trying to do, especially with the ball. And that goes back to last season, too.

I'm fine with us being functional and difficult to beat, but it's hard to see us creating chances consistently outside of Ronald/Inoussa magic

We didn’t play well against Sheffield Utd. We scraped a win against possibly the worst side in the league at the time. A decent side would have put four or five past them that day and we were lucky to play them when we did. It was a confidence builder and a good three points but we weren’t great.
