Stories are kicking off in earnest, here is the dilemma

Would you want Bale joining Cardiff if it meant he was fit for Wales in November?

Personally I think he would be in better shape if he went to a Premier League club

What on earth are Cardiff going to pay him with- magic beans?

I don't think he particularly cares, he could play for nothing realistically.

I'll b shocked if he doesn't sign for them, makes perfect sense for them both.

He’ll cost them a fortune, play when he wants, do a bit of light training and pretend to be injured until the plan leaves for Qatar. All good for me.

Me too. It’s a proper win win situation.

Just glad we were the first team to do the double, as well as the first team to get to the Premier league.

It’s happening by the looks, but will hardly play imo.

Bale could easily play for a mid table Premier league side next season and there wouldn't be any problem getting takers for his services either.

I don't think he'll play, he'll sign for anyone who's daft enough, but he'll feign injury and be prepped like a racehorse for the World Cup.

I honestly think he'll have to play though, when the finals come around he'll be 6 months older and would have to put the hard yards in to do himself justice, also factor in his desire to play for Wales and he'll want to be pretty much match fit, I think we'll see a super motivated Bale going into the World Cup. Forget about his last 18 months in Spain, they wanted him out the door and Zidane was being a cuñt.
Bale, in my honest opinion will be absolutely flying come December.

I think he’ll be better off playing for a PL club so that he’s used to playing at a higher standard. That’s more beneficial for Wales imo.

Absolutely, Southampton would be a superb match up for him and them, going full circle before Qatar.

Southampton are probably good enough to only need to use him sparingly too, last 20 minutes here and there. They shouldn't really need him to start games, more of a super sub. They will also know he isn't their future.
