• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Brewster missed his penalty, Klopp gonna send him back to us now to rebuild his confidence 🤞😄

Love to see it, but more chance of me having a beer with benny.

If i was his manager i would give him to bottom half club with play him or lose him scenario. Xmas back too Swansea or similar club. In my opinion and i hope im wrong but he lacks that extra yard.

You have to feel for him....but feck it....send him back here to do his penance...

To be honest Sheffield United could be a decent move for him, but is he going to start? Liverpool include clauses in their loan deals to play a certain amount of games or they demand money, so hopefully we remain a favourite for him.

They could & you can see an attraction for both club & Brewster but Wilder demands every player puts a full shift in with strikers expected to both defend from the front/come back to defend set pieces etc & run the channels to make space/pull defenders out of position etc - so not sure Brewster is ready/capable just yet, of course it might be the making of him.

On his pace front agree he’s not lightening but if he keeps improving his finishing & adds some out of the box development he could still make it at the top level.

Deal back on?

Telegraph reporting if Liverpool can't sell he could well be coming back here on loan. That would be absolutely huge.

If this was a normal year you could easily see Bournemouth spending in excess of £20m on him however it's not a normal year even for the riches of the Premier League. As usual this potential transfer will come down to how high Liverpool value him versus how much the potential buying clubs value him.

You're spot on with the comment that this could be a big scenario for us.

Bournemouth couldn’t after being relegated, FFP, but yeah definitely someone like Villa

Definitely not Bournemouth this year. They were developing a track record of such signings; Solanke, Ibe, Ake... but that’s come crashing down.

Coming back on loan is looking more and more likely ;) ..love it if we can get this over the line

Anything else in the offing fella

They need to look at the Watkins situation, Waktins 24 years old had a good season in the Championship gone to Villa for potentially 33M, Brewster 20 years old has the same season as Watkins did then Liverpool could sell him for similar price or have a great promising striker back at their team having had a full season playing every game under a manager they trust or.......we sign him permanently when we get promoted ;)

I still have the same gut feel on this - a season in the Championship I think makes much more sense for his development

But I could easily believe that from a position of hope
