Wonder if this is close to his preferred starting line up for the coming season. Obviously Joey fits in there.

Thats what? Piroe's 5th or 6th goal of preseason?
Good to see Congreve on the scoresheet too, should be a good confidence booster for him

Won 3-2, or won one drew the other, who cares.
Anyway, fuk Elton John in future and organise better, get a top quality opponent lined up at home for next pre season, played over 90 minutes and keep your bread and butter support happy...
Just saying like 👍

No disrespect at all meant to Wood here, as there has been plenty before him saying same thing, but we need to shut up now. If we start the season shipping goals left right and centre like we have done last season, and carried on into the friendlies then we making tw*ts of ourselves by making these comments.

Considering that the first half was close to what I would see as RM's first choice side and the only real chance according to the highlights that they had was a penalty I am slightly less concerned.

What did concern me in the second half was that two big chances were created (one taken) against the second side by a single long ball over the top. How much of that was positional awareness is another question.

Also that sliding tackle on Piroe which resulted in the penalty was very naughty for a pre season friendly.

First half we got caught with two balls over the top. Darling give the pen away for the one, and the second the guy put wide. We were caught several times against Plymouth too.

I understand when people say it’s only friendlies, and I agree in terms of results, but the same problems we had last year, are arising again in the pre season with different players, one of those being £1.5m player. It’s a system issue.
