• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Bit lazy me Dicky. Can’t be arsed to grind beans buy the ground. Last packet I bought was Espresso Napoli from Saquella from an Italian shop here.I only know that because I had to check the packet :-)) No idea with cold or warm water. Always done cold. When it starts making a gargling sound get it off the ring.

Was looking to buy some different ground coffee yesterday and came across this one which is from the same people who do the coffee bags I use. Was intrigued by the name so thought I'd give it a go and it arrived this afternoon so will try it tomorrow morning. :D

My missus bought me a Bialetti and I have just tried it with Sainsbury's fair trade Espresso strength 5 ground coffe.

It's superb!!!

Followed your instructions of cold water and for it to gurgle.
Now to put on an episode of Montalbano 👍😊

Yes it's nice, although we usually end up getting the pure gold. I do enjoy coffee, personally though after a few cups, feel kind of sick. It's normally a stop drinking coffee after mid day for me.

You old enough to remember the bottles of Camp coffee Jack123 ?

Yes, didn't mind it. I haven't seen it for ages, I thought it had been discontinued, but it seems it's still available.

Lidl’s is my place to shop for coffee these days, they have a very good selection, the Quatemalen ground coffee being my favourite.

I am not too fussed with whatever coffee I drink these days although I do love a good Java Sumatra - that is if you can find it these days as it seems to have disappeared post brexshit.

Someone above posted about the Lidl ground coffee and I have to say it is damn good fair play.
