• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

If you keep starting threads postulating Coopers imminent departure to random clubs, you have to be right eventually. Like the people who spent 7 seasons saying we were going down from the Prem.

🤣🤣🤣

Btw I've got a horrible sickly feeling that he is going nowhere 😱

Nobody's seen him, good looking lad he is, is he on Love Island?

Was just going to say the same, then I saw your post. ;)

He's got us into the play offs two seasons running, and the majority of people want him gone, speaks volumes doesn't it

I would say that Nottingham Forest got us into the playoffs last year, but, yes, it’s bloody miserable stuff to watch and we all know even if we miraculously crawled up we would be buried week after week and it is wholly unsustainable. But we’ll never get up playing like that. We weren’t really even close either time, play offs or not.

I think we’re probably stuck with the hapless fist pumping mug. At least until he’s booed out. What a shame for us. It comes to something if two desperate clubs, one absolutely desperate, won’t take him.

I'm of the opinion that teams have "worked" us out in the 2nd half of the season, the Bidwell and Roberts stopped, put a man on Grimes and that was us sorted.. I'm fearing a relegation scrap this coming season, Cooper will be gone, he's tactically clueless, he puts us out to not be progressive with the ball and if his shape holds out, he gets all negative

The night Lee Bowyer came out and called our tactics predictable summed it all up.

In effect we have wasted two years. In my opinion we were never going to be relegated but could have been promoted. With him we have just been marking time and using up our parachute payments and wasting the two years of Ayew. Fact is, given that we made no effort to win either play offs there was no point at all in us being there. That’s not success.

I'm taking it, you haven't read it properly

A Fulham fan on their board is saying his source is 90% certain the job is Wilders, wouldn’t surprise me as there’s no buy out clause attached to him, difficult situation we find ourselves in as we know Cooper most certainly doesn’t want to be here, and then that will rub off onto the squad, also the fact he’s out of contract next summer, we risk not getting anything for him if he does stay and doesn’t get a new contract.

Looks like we are stuck with the boring cnt who doesn’t want to be here. Best hope is a poor start and him sacked

Im really confused as I heard he had spoken to and agreed to go to Fulham, who were put off by the compo but they expected the money from Parker to go towards Cooper. Today seeing that Parker was mutually terminated suggests they dont have the money now to take Cooper from us, so i think its a case of if we lower or remove the compo or keep him
