But our two full backs cannot defend. We would be better served playing Christie RB and Naughton LB

Not sure what you want him to do apart from retain the ball and create space for other players to benefit from.

He played conservatively today, retaining possession above all else, maybe under orders. Once or twice he'd actually beat his man then turned back rather than attack, which had me swearing and cursing like a trooper.
I think he'll get better as he gets more used to the Championship.
