• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Looking at the results from the
Europe League last night brings back memories of our European games after winning the Welsh Cup & League Cup .
We played
Braga , Panathaniakos , Malmo , Ludogorets
Did you see those games ?

I can't remember which game, maybe none of those, but the funniest moment I've ever seen (was at the Vetch) when an Eastern European player was rolling theatrically about on the ground after a soft tackle. An old timer on the North Bank was so incensed that he threw one of his crutches onto the pitch for the twat. Place went wild 😂😂😂

Played Lokomotiv Leipzig (I think - definitely one of the Lokomotivs) at the Vetch and we weren't doing particularly well. A voice from the North Bank shouts "come on lads, they're only a bunch of train drivers".

Monaco managed by a bloke named Arsene Wenger who nobody’s heard of since.

All the clubs i mention must be much better financially playing in Europe .

Sadly some of the biggest twats now play for us!
Mind you - I have seen both Franco and Ronald being less pathetic in the last month -more of the Matos effect?

One of my favourite Malmo.
We beat them 4 - 0 a magic night Bony making his debut 2 goals an assist .
Pretty sure Michu scored the first .
The away support was loud

Great trip out there as well, although can’t remember anything about the game - not sure if that’s because it was a non event or alcohol related 🤣

My Niece & Nephew went to the away game at St Gallen in December the weather was bloody freezing .
Snow and Ice everywhere.
