• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I look forward to your review. I don’t usually get to the wine till about 11pm.

We've just cleaned up last nights bottles. Wife enjoyed the wine and she is a much bigger rose drinker than I am. Only had a glass myself and I'd say that it's moving into the sweeter area of my spectrum but entirely drinkable. We will chuck a couple into the virtual shopping trolley for next week.
On Friday the wife got me San Miguel, she didn't know about the premium. Last night I drank them and went on to the rum...not a lot left in the rum bottle this morning!

I had Kestel lager off Amazon the other week now brewed in Scotland 5%
The 5% Stella for my perfect draft machine is often out of stock or over priced.

I've heard Stella is dropping down to 4.6%

Tonight I will be mostly drinking birra moretti, tsingtao, san miguel and amstel.

Followed by a large glug of Gaviscon tomorrow morning no doubt 👌

Nah, my stomach is cast iron 😁

When I was a student my housemate's mother won 6 crates of xxxx. Despite us being skint 90% of the time, they were still there two years later (minus the first ones we tried and few we gave away to look generous).

Very watery and tasteless a bit like carlsberg.
It was even weaker at 3.7%abv when brewed over here.
No doubt in Australia it is stronger and more appreciated with the warmer climate.

5.4% I'll have to experiment

Birra moretti, Erdinger Hooegaaden and those bottles of Delirium you can get from Tesco which are quite strong. Named after the pub of the same name m Brussels which I have been to. I like some of the beers our local brewery makes (Grey Trees) as well.

I'm a Guinness man mostly but the above are some of my favourites.
