Is it true Reading and the Isle of Wight are better?
Does Creamfields still happen?

Reading and IOW fests are not quite as diverse in music as Glastonbury. One of the best outside of Glastonbury is our very own Greenman Festival. Very family friendly and musically diverse. This year Beach House, Kraftwerk and Michael Kiwanuka headline. It has grown considerably over the years and Robert Plant was one of the first big name headliners they had nearly 20 years ago. Since then acts like PJ Harvey, Wilco, Flaming Lips, Ryan Adams, Leftfield, Band of Horses, Jarvis Cocker and Spiritualized just to name a few whi have headlined.
Going to try for tickets for next years event - they sell out very very fast!

Well done everyone Greta will be so proud.

The end of the festival is great, brand new tents, barbeques, slabs of beer, all left behind. If you've got enough of a straight head you can make a killing gathering stuff up.

It was a good Glastonbury , something for everybody , of course these threads always descend unto the usual that's shyte I like this blah blah blah which us pointless , people like what they like , at least Ebo had some good anecdotes

Good read that, only goes to show that you can only truthfully comment on the experience if you have actually been there as it is much more than standing in front of the pyramid stage.

Apparently Covid was rife amongst the audience, loads have caught it.

Can't say I'm surprised in a crowd that size. New UK cases currently rising to iaround 40k per day so probably about 1 person active in every 100 of the adult population on average which would means there could have been anything up to 2000 with covid attending Glastonbury over the weekend. This thing isn't gone yet.

Cases are rising but of course we've all been jabbed so government aren't at all bothered.

Just come in from my daily toil and my eldest isn't well, he's done a test and its negative, he was in a meeting in Cardiff on Monday and few in that meeting have gone down with Covid ffs.
He's confined to his billet now, until he takes another test in the morning, can't afford to allow my youngest to catch it, he's not that great as it is, nightmare :(

We are remote working but in once a week, I can see that being 100% remote soon. I really don't want to catch it again especially on top of what i already have.
