Goodbye Fulton

Some of the comments here make me feel angry.

Time to move on.

If Steve goes, good luck and take some players with you, they deserve better.

So people are saying he’s not good enough for the championship? He played premier league football not long ago and he wasn’t awful!

He's more than good enough for Championship level football and considering what we paid for him / what we pay him in wages, he is one of the most valuable squad members that we have.

We were rubbish before he was sent off. I like him he's not the most talented but he keeps going and trying which is more than can be said for some.

So, this is what it has come to, we’re happy to have a trier in the side, no wonder we hardly created an effort on goal yesterday, there are plenty of triers on Ashleigh Road on a Sunday morning.
As I said earlier, he wouldn’t have got near the bench under a Martinez or Rodgers, too slow, too limited and zilch creativity apart from the odd pass in a thousand.

If you want to live in the past carry on. This isn't Martinez or Rogers and It's 2021 and overall we have a team that couldn't compare to the players of that era. We have what we have and I can't see any other player in our squad who would have made a difference over Fulton. We overachieved by miles this season. Of course that's only my opinion.

Fulton is probably the best passer of the ball we have in the squad. It's easy to blame him for everything after yesterday but he's been one of the better performers this season.

I’m not living in the past, I’m merely comparing the standard of footballer we have now come to accept, he’s not good enough simple as that, too slow, gives needless free kicks away and lacks any creativity, that’s not living in the past that is just stating a fact.feel free to disagree but that is my opinion.

To be fair I saw Fulton score a hat trick at Yeovil in pre season. Yes opposition excepted but he has quality and is a top ten team midfielder in this league. Leave the boy alone

Fulton is easily good enough for this level much like Pratley was. Far too easy for bag him as the escaped goat when emotions are running high. He's got plenty of headroom to improve as well. Keep.

Still using we. Good man.

Another player who plenty didn't "get" but was excellent for us for five years. Make a big difference in the playoff final too.

Looks more disappointed than some of our boys yesterday

Also saw him score a 30 yards at Bristol rovers in a friendly, so why doesn't he do it more often then if he's got it in him, the Fulton at Yeovil and Bristol rovers is not the Fulton we see week in week out in the championship.

The Fulton we see in the league is rarely played as far forward as he seems to be in other matches.

He has to realise his indiscipline is costing us. None more so than today. Shame really, because other than his discipline issues I think he's had a decent season.

He has had a decent season, was unlucky yesterday as he slipped and made contact with that Brentford players heel, unlucky and doesn't deserve the vitriol that's been posted.
People should take their frustrations out on Hourihane who again was utterly useless, at one point in the second half, he moved forward with the ball [honest he did] and with the Brentford players about 10 yrds in front of him, he shit his pants and stopped and passed it side wards, instead of carrying on, he could have even have had a shot on goal, waste complete waste of space and completely gutless, hope I never hear his name again.
