My Phillips Perfect Draught Machine turned up today with a 6L keg of Tiny Rebels Cali Pale Ale, it's been on about 45 mins now and temperature is still around 19 degrees with the machine pulsing every few seconds, just checked it all and its fine but its still pulsing, looked on YouTube and pulsing noise is machine pressuring the keg apparently, annoying fecking noise though.

If it's doing it every few seconds you've got a problem. The pump may not be clipped in properly, or there may be a hole at the top of the keg. Try unclipping the pump, and swapping which way round you clip onto the keg.

I sorted it last night Uxy, been fine, had a couple off already, first one produced a lot of froth, but I('ve got it sorted now, Tiny Rebels Cali Pale is a bit bland though, better to leave it a few minutes after pouring, as its to cold straight out of the tap which impacts the flavour, much nicer after leaving it a few mins.

Yeah there are a few like that where best to leave. Lots of choices anyway, and seems to be growing by the week (much like my waistline since I got it...)

I'd love to see Madri Kegs being available, hopeless stuff in bottles but lovely on draught, so I expect it will be the same on Perfect Draft.

Brewdog keg will be one of my next, Tiny Rebels Tropicana another, not cheap though, apparently the kegs are available in Aldi's and Lidl's ?

If they are, I've never seen them.

https://www.beerhawk.co.uk/short-dated-kegs is a handy bookmark for cheap kegs. Its a shame they got rid of the 15% discount recently, that was very handy.

Edit - The Mikkeler is one of the best I've tried, and if you like the ones you mentioned you should like that too. If you don't, I'll take it off your hands 😉

Seriously hot outside already troops, and today is the cooler day of the next three.
Trust me to be off next week

Watching Breakfast on BBC1 earlier and they were interviewing some doctor who was giving advice on how to stop yourself dying in this extreme heat, "keep out of the sun between 11am and 3pm, drink lots of fluids to keep yourself hydrated, and another useful tip is to keep your socks in the fridge"

29 here in Somerset atm but there is a decent breeze today so doesn't feel quite so oppressive as yesterday when there was no air movement at all.

To flaming hot here :(

Can't believe the Royal Welsh is going ahead tomorrow.

Wouldn't surprise me to see some animal rights activists about the showground.
