For broader context Owen was defending someone who thought Priti Patel should be deported a few days ago. As the comments were made by a leftie he likes an apology was sufficient to make the whole thing go away. If it had been someone to the right of Chavez he would be on his third guardian column calling for their expulsion from society by now.

I am making a comparison. The met tweets within hours yet our government refuse to condemn the acts of terror against Palestine. As bad as what happened in London is, it is nowhere near the level of terror the Palestinians are feeling compared to a few backward gobshites shouting abuse from a car.
