• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The lad from Forest fits that bill.

Not sure why people are questioning his potential signing.
He does fit that bill. My concern is his injuries and lack of game time. Wright and Clark would be awesome at the start of next season but I'm not sure they'd have the wherewithal for what promises to be a very hard end of season. Especially if Luke stays.

Back to my original point.

Must sign players!

Don't sign that player......

Unless we're talking about clubs buying at the top of the market (like Man City with their signings this month), there's usually a reason a player is available in January.

It could be because they've flopped at their current club, they're young and inexperienced, they're old, they're injury prone, etc. It's unrealistic to expect a club in our position to be signing completely problem-free players.

Fuck it. Let's just sign anyone. As long as there's activity who cares.
We're not just potentially signing anyone though, are we.

Centre of the pitch is lacking and we've targeted two players to fill that void.

How about we actually sign them first then let them put a few performances in before we start slagging them off.

We absolutely do not want to sign anyone just for the sake of it, but perhaps those who are permanently underwhelmed by every player linked could give us the benefit of their expertise and tell us who the club should be signing?

Marcus Rashford until he signed for Villa.

Maybe I'm missing something but I've read most of the thread and can't see anything about any being permanently underwhelmed.
Each player mentioned hasn't been slated as they all have positives that the team need, that still shouldn't stop discussion about team balance etc.

So a quick round up for this window.

Delcroix in to replace Abbey
O'Brien looking likely to replace Grimes
Widell signed and loaned out

😂🤣🤣😂
