• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Disagree completely, he's a renowned World Rugby Legend.

You could always change channels, you haven't got to watch it.

One of Wales’s most iconic and instantly recognisable sportsmen. Ive next to no interest in rugby and never have but I’d have been surprised if the coverage was any different to what it has been. Bobby Charlton had similar treatment U.K.-wide when he died and quite right too.

I wish that drink driving shyte had never happened. He was a fabulous rugby player.

I remember an international in France when JPR was probably towards the end of his career. A French wing broke through and for once JPR couldn't get to him. It was testament to how highly I regarded him that I genuinely felt shock at the realisation JPR was human after all.

Rest in peace, mate. You were one of the very best.

Was it Emile Ntamack? not many stopped him in his tracks, his son is the French Flyhalf Romain Ntamack.

Not sure to be honest, I just remember Ntamack tearing down the wing torturing the opposition.

Just looked him up and he's 21yrs younger than JPR at 53
