• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I understand January can be a difficult time to bring in decent attacking options and you could be paying a premium. But surely there's a 3rd/4th choice keeper at a Prem/ Championship club we could bring in on loan, because let's face it they're likely to be an upgrade on Fisher-Price! This should be top priority today, and a defender should be somewhere on the list of priorities, surely.

Keepers can be brought in on an emergency loan system is something happens to Fisher or our 3rd choice keeper.

That's assuming Fisher is good enough to play week in week out. Don't think emergency loans extend to your second choice keeper being too shite.

Lets be positive. Fish has a chance now to turn into something resembling a goalkeeper, rather than an actual fish. Maybe he'll grasp it (I know, he'll more likely drop it, get out the way of it, stay cowering 6 feet away from it, or pass it to the opposition). It's up to him to start paying back what he owes us.

I think he's gash, but I'm praying to god he isn't. Really hard.

Flaw is, there is no god.

I hope we just go with what we've got.

Let's give Fisher a chance for the rest of the season with someone from the U23s on the bench. Not going up, not going down... may as well suss out what we have.

I agree. Let's see what Fisher can do without the pressure of a strong reserve keeper, and let's keep our limited funds intact for as long as possible (written on the assumption that we are not consistent enough to compete for promotion, and too strong to be dragged into the relegation fight).

we should tyr and get ben foster on a short term deal now that he has retired
