• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Seen a couple of days ago that Solsjaker wants a championship job he could be a possibility. We were also linked to Henrik Rydstrom after LW sacking he's now a free agent after being sacked from Malmo.

Other then that the best (out of an awful bunch) and most realistic option is Russ Martin.

Martin would get the same welcome he got from the Huns, apart from a few deluded arseholes on twatter.

Martin will be a non starter, the manager betting market is so reactive to very little information. It seems like a lot of people in the club thought Hellberg was done, so a bit like the Sheehan sacking, I would expect there to be a 48 hour lag here as they change course and find somebody new. Not ideal for the weekend and it does not reflect that well on them in the short term but if they take a breather and get the right person it will be better in the long term than rushing.

Obviously David Hughes is now available, Welsh and with no compo to pay plus I'd think we'd get a clear run at him. ...Have we sunk this low I ask you.

You can when the guy has been messing you around for a week. They obviously sacked Sheehan thinking this guy would have been lined up and in straight away or by the weekend at least. I've always said there's no smoke without fire and its clear he's been getting himself round to any and every championship job avaliable. That's on them for not recognizing that.

Their track record is absolutely hideous nobody can deny that and it is becoming a common theme. You can not go 6/6 on awful key decisions and then talk about the premier league it is as simple as that.
Have a day off mate

Have a day off mate, no need to get your knickers in a twist, Sheehan's only just gone. Why would you cry over someone who wants to go somewhere else? 🙄

We really are f*cked if this is the case

Not saying he's going to be the next manager by any stretch but Russell Martin is a genuine contender

They’re as big a bunch of clowns as Kaplan and Levein, no evidence to the contrary. Having said that I’m happy to dodge the Hellberg bullet anyway.
