• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Inoussa has started Eight of the Fourteen league games he has been healthy for and Three of the Four cup games. Eom has started Seven league games and Two cup games. Cullen has started Six league games and Zero cup games. It is fair however to say that Widell has had limited chances.
If Inoussa starts he gets replaced by Eom every single time. And our game usually goes downhill from then on. We are not playing the new players because Sheehan has some idiotic loyalty to players like Cullen and Eom. Play your best side has always been a managerial mantra.

That’s the problem…after fifteen games he doesn’t know his best side, keeps making changes in the hope results will change when in fact it’s his tactics and set ups that is costing us….in my opinion.

If we do sack Sheehan and appoint him, I'll be keeping the receipts, put it that way. But no doubt all the people starting Sheehan Out threads will be very happy with another laptop coach.

Personally, I think it would be absolutely insane to parachute a coach from a third-rate league into probably the most competitive and evenly balanced Championship season in decades.

Okay that does it the usual suspects don’t want him.

Therefore he’s the right man for the job.

Your “laptop manager” comment too jeez.

I bet you love a bit of “passion”

This is an insane idea but employing someone with no experience was a great idea. Listen to yourself old boy.

I’m guessing it was down to Adam Worth and Montague having links in Sweden his name came up.

A lot of people have suggested that this was the genesis of the rift in the summer that lead to the shake up. There was a division on Sheehan but in the end the owners chose and empowered him. If there is a quick hire to make it stands to reason it would be him as presumably they have already done all the leg work which would be requited.

If Sheehan goes I am all for looking outside the box.
I have had a look in the box and it is full of 💩

Not that I don't think that Potter is a decent coach, but I take his season with us with a pinch of salt - we had a very decent squad for this level at the time.

Same here, I've never really understood all the hype about him.

I think we should have done better than 10th that year. Didn't trouble the playoffs.

We had some very skillful and pacey players which helped the entertainment factor.

It would have been interesting if he'd stayed on with us the year after, mind.
