• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I'm struggling to think what this line of persuasion would be?

Unfinished business, I assume? That would be a stretch...
His record against Cardiff? Doesn't apply right now.
He brings Premier League hair? Compare it to Hellberg's provincial short-back and sides and you'll see the step up in class?

I'd honestly love to know how he's angling for this, if indeed he is. Maybe he's got players like Cabango arguing his case.
Expand the stadium to fit his ego in..

We really are f*cked if this is the case
Bookies list is as uninspiring as anything. Rogers and Carrick will never happen. Who the fuck is Matos? 2nd division of Portugal are stooping that low and would he even get a work permit?

I suggested Solsjaker and Rydstrom I'll also throw Will Still in the mix but there is 0 links to them at this time. FYI I don't think it will be Russ but the market is awful. We left ourselves competing with 3 big clubs and we've been burnt again by it. Now we're scrambling around again.

If the option is between this Matos and Martin I could confidently say i would rather have Martin and that is the scariest thought going.

Brendan is beyond us, we could maybe rent his teeth to act as interim in the dugout till we appoint someone the club could afford
ROI is a factor. If he costs us a shit load of cash, but can get us up then it's a worthwhile investment?

Seen a couple of days ago that Solsjaker wants a championship job he could be a possibility. We were also linked to Henrik Rydstrom after LW sacking he's now a free agent after being sacked from Malmo.

Other then that the best (out of an awful bunch) and most realistic option is Russ Martin.
Go back to whatever Cardiff site you came from. No sane Swansea fan would have him back

If I had no association with Swansea, I’d choose Boro.

Then I’d see the utter shithole, and think about 3 cliffs 😆
However he won't be living in actual Middlesborough will he!!

They have top class training facilities that England have used (clearly a Southgate link) and he will have pretty much the whole of North Yorkshire in which to find a place to live.

If it’s based on hair I’m available.

We’ll have other options drawn up, it’s frustrating that we’ve missed out on one but I think we’ll end up with a decent appointment. It’s like with signings, you don’t always get your first choice but it doesn’t mean that second choice is of wildly lower quality. We’ll be alright.

Four jobs going in the Championship, Swansea the least attractive of the lot…like I said ..wasn’t happening, some of you have made right fools of yourselves, could swear we were after Ancelotti.

I personally don't think so, he's not receiving any premier league offers soon, his reputation has taken a bit of a hit the last few years. I don't think he's the right person to take us forward, I just have a feeling he's looking for pension money these days.

In that case bye bye Cabango
