Lineker Gone

That'll teach him. Who do you think you are, Gary, telling the truth about terrible things going on in the world? That's not acceptable to the powers that be.
Cue all the knuckle draggers "Yeah, but he's earned millions from the licence payers, blah, blah, blah".

Can we now expect to see the departures of right wing commentators such as Alan Sugar and Andrew Neil from the BBC? It really does seem that those on the left are being held to a different standard to those on the right. Probably because news outlets on the left don't resort to the sort of hysteria you see from the Mail.

See also the level of coverage Reform get in comparison to the Lib Dems, who have far more seats.

One of the only people on TV who are willing to speak the truth about the genocide. Fantastic bloke.

But as I just said in the other thread he isn’t calling out Hamas and the music festival massacre which kicked off this current conflict which I find bizarre.
He’s not the only one mind.

I doubt there's a single reasonable person speaking out about Isreal's actions that don't also condemn the horrific terrorist attack that was the inciting event.

However, Israel's actions since dwarf the events of that day. The UN's figures suggest over 55,000 people have been killed since the war started, 53k of which are Palestinians.

If Israel's true goal is to destroy Hamas and prevent another massacre like that on the 3rd October 2023, their actions have surely already succeeded or they never will, given the sustained destruction and death in Palestine. Hamas is either already crippled or the approach taken isn't working.

Of course, what they're likely to find in the years to come is their actions will create many more Palestinians looking for revenge. There's a reason sayings like 'an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind' have endured.

I think you'll find this conflict started a while before that event

Of course he’s spoken out about that horrific incident. Behave will you 🙄

Absolutely 100% but it wasn’t currently like this until Hamas massacred 100’s of people and took hostages enjoying themselves at a music festival.
Israel have slaughtered Palestinians for decades, this isn’t a competition, it’s people calling out the genocide which is being sponsored by the West. Hideous.

Yes and Israel will then retaliate and it will be all their fault.
It’s a bit like he asking Mike Tyson out for a fight.
It needs to stop and it needs to stop now.
