Luke Williams

Young players being brave on the ball...... Where have we heard that before? Ah yeah from chinwig.....I hope to God Williams doesn't talk as much s**t as Russell did.

You could put Williams' and Martin's bullshit together twice combined, and it still wouldn't even come close to the wank that Duff used to come out with in his press conferences.

My favourite one is when he claimed we'd won at QPR on xG. What a tool.

I watched fair bit of Vanarama league last season. Notts County were on quite a bit. One thing I noted was how odd his interview were. He is a strange fellow, at least on front of the tv cameras. I always got the sense that was tripping wildly on mushrooms.

Ok, so I am watching his interview on Swans TV. He is coming across well to be honest. I suppose post match interview, fuelled by adrenaline, are not a good yardstick.

Swansea’s chairman, Andy Coleman, told the club’s website: “I have been fortunate to spend a lot of time with Luke recently. I have looked him in the eye and know that we can trust Luke to be a coach and leader who is aligned with our vision for Swansea City.

“He fits right into the mould of other talented and ambitious young managers who have succeeded here. I am confident our supporters will be excited by and proud of this Luke Williams-led Swansea City team.”

Didn’t this utter tool say the same or similar about Duff? Might try and dig that out for a laugh.

We should feel sorry for Coleman. He's been put here, in the stocks, for us peasants to throw cabbages at, while the real villains carry on regardless. He seems naive to me.

You're not wrong there, he's just their latest stooge.

Don't feel sorry for him though. No one held a gun to his head to force him to come here. And he's handsomely renumerated for being pretty crap at his job. Zero sympathy from me.

Oh I can see he’s going to upset a few on here already with his lingo, can’t say he’s got great hair but a chip off the block he certainly is.

So what's it this time, Andrew? Going to give him 10 games before you make up your mind he's a dud (although actually you think he probably is already) or give him the benfit of the doubt for three seasons because he's got a cheeky smile and you like to see Fulton and Grimes passing the ball endlessly back to each other until the other side take it and score? :D

In all seriousness, this could be an end to the boring culture wars we've been inflicted with for four and a half seasons now if we give him half a chance. Let's back the manager and move on together.

Already given my thoughts on a different thread. Go and have a read if you want. Or don't. Couldn't care either way tbh.

Your idol sat on a throne of lies, duff never had a chance to get close but I know you'll give Luke the same patience that you gave Duff.
