Martin holds the exit door open for Obafemi and Paterson

Piroe broke covid rules at the club and went to Cardiff and had a piss up for his birthday fact, he came back into the squad after one game and had a brilliant season with Martin coaching him, if he hated Martin that much he would have pushed hard to leave the club.

Fulton we wanted gone because of his high wages and he refused to go rightly so and is performing on the pitch for us which indicates he’s having a good relationship with the coaching.

Grimes stayed with us because of Martin.

Whittaker had a shocking loan spell with Lincoln why did he deserve to come back in the summer and be in our squad? He needed another loan.

Burns & Ogbeta wasn’t his signings, Ogbeta being a desperate last minute signing which eventually saw Allen sacked from the club, and if he was that good he wouldn’t have joined Peterborough in L1.

Williams was dreadful whatever way you look at it, just had his loan spell cut short with Blackpool also which says it all, and the comments from the Blackpool fans summed him up, and not forgetting being done for pace by 6ft5 33 year old Andy Carroll.

Obafemi don’t need to explain him over and over when he has a reputation of bad decisions.

Pato has praised Martin a few times in the past, he’s been badly advised by his agent/club and if he can’t follow simple time keeping skills then that’s pathetic.

Piroe = he did go to Cardiff, but that’s not why he was dropped. He was dropped for not agreeing with Martin regarding aspects of the play. (Confirmed by Martin publicly).

He wanted to leave from that moment and refused to enter into any contract talks.

Fulton = his high wages (they aren’t particularly high) is one thing. But stating he will never play for the club again is quite another - especially when it’s false.

Grimes = no he didn’t stay because of Martin. He stayed because we didn’t accept an offer.

Burns and Ogbeta = what has them not being his signings got to do with anything? The American loans weren’t Coopers signings, he still used them when possible.

Obafemi and Pato - both horrifically mismanaged by Martin. Minor infractions being punished with games and games on the sidelines. No guidance, no structure, no support.

Defend him all you like but he will continue to fall out with players, mark my words.

f*****g hell, the fight to stick up for Martin is strong here, I wouldn't mind but the football is f*****g s**t and speaks for itself, so y'all can argue the toss all day long about what went on behind the scenes but you can't hide what goes on on the pitch and it's gash and you can't hide the utter bollocks Martin speaks week in week out.

The guy is a f*****g fraud and couldn't manage is way out of a paper bag.

Is the right answer.

He’s fallen out with half the team for goodness sake. Why people are pretending he isn’t the catalyst and common denominator I’m not quite sure.

Agree to disagree here, like Chief said I’m not defending Martin on performances for us, sometimes I’ve really enjoyed us and sometimes I’ve been bored out of my skull but I don’t agree with the agenda stuff, and many of us know certain things behind the scenes through people.

Grimes stated at the fans forum the only reason he signed the extension was solely because of Martin.

Something else to blame Martin for.

You really are clueless fair play.

I'm kidding.

Of course, the real reason that Grimes signed the extension is because nobody good wanted him.

You can grump as much as you want. Simple reality is that he was basically available on a free transfer and nobody offered him more than we did. If he was as good as his acolytes claim he would have been swamped with options. He wasn't.

The fact that he somehow wangled a payrise out of the situation lends some credence to the belief that club negotiators might be a bit lacking in ability.

Never good to have an agenda, but I’m not seeing one to be fair.

It is what it is, nobody is making up that he is falling out with players at an alarming rate not seen at this club for decades (if not ever).

Martinez said in his press conference that he loved the fans and club and we would have to kick him out… not long after he was Wigan manager.

Russell said in his press conference that he was at MK Dons for the long haul and not going anywhere… 2 days (?!) later he was our manager.

These are sound bites, please don’t fall for them.

If Grimes had a half decent offer on the table he would be gone like a shot. I’m sure the bottom half of the Championship isn’t his long standing dreams.

Free transfer 😂😂 Fulham had two bids rejected and then he signed a contract making him the highest paid player at the club.

Your insistence on slagging him off at every opportunity is weird as f*ck. I’ll say it for the third time, you have not got a clue, listen to the likes of Potter, Cooper, Martin, Downes just to name a few, you spout that rubbish at them they’ll laugh in your face.

They could have offered him a decent wage and had him on a free. They clearly decided he wasn't worth it otherwise they would have. It's not a difficult concept.

I'm not interested in the opinions of other people. I'm capable of forming one of my own. Grimes fans are weird. They seem insistent on pointing to what other people think and interminable stats rather than actually explaining what he does which makes him so indispensible based on what they've actually witnessed for themselves.

Capable of forming your opinion yes, but it’s a very uneducated one unfortunately compared to those mentioned.

Witnessed for themselves? Those who know what they are watching most probably, no offence.

I’m amazed Jobbie doesn’t think the sun shines out of Grimes arse he’s always loved boring mundane players.

Read the posts more carefully. I'm only sticking up for him for aspects that I don't think he can be blamed for.

What goes on on the pitch (even when the likes of Obafemi/ Paterson were playing) hasn't been good enough. But that's a separate issue.

It's not a separate issue it's the main issue
