I'm no Grimes lover but if we haven't got a decent replacement lined up we're in even more trouble than I thought.
Sell him in the summer by all means but not now.

So he does nothing for the team now. He's handed in a transfer request. We refuse to let him go. How much fucking effort is he going to put in ? He won't give a shit. A shit less than he does now. Fuck him off.

I'm of the opinion we won't get a decent replacement in, especially with Coleman and the chuckle brothers running things.. but it'll be a fresh, new start to see how we function without him hogging the ball like someone in school, players have to take their own intiative and responsibility now and they might improve as players

We won't get anyone in as they have never intended to (imo).
But, as bad as he's been, I can't see Fulton being much worse. I mean, on a positive, Fulton will actually tackle.And can score. Other than that they do the same anyway.

I think that wholly depends on which version of Grimes you’re comparing.

If it’s the current crab sat deeper than our CBs for 80% of matches then I’m happy to take the chance.

Feel like I should put a disclaimer here where I am completely aware of what he’s capable of, he just never bloody shows it to the frequency required.

I don’t think he’s anywhere near as good technically, but that is benefitting us not one jot. Grimes is wholly ineffective, often detrimental.
