• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The biggest backtrack in recent football history.

I would still deduct the 6 teams 20 points for next seasons Premier league, statement needs to be made that this type of behaviour is not right and will be punished.

Even though the "European Super League" is unravelling before our eyes and the rats are leaving the sinking ship, the "greedy six" should be held to account, 12 point deduction, starting immediately.

Even though the ESL isn’t happening immediately, you only have to look at the direction the Champions League goes at each restructuring cycle to see that these clubs are already taking in a far bigger slice of the pie than should be acceptable, but because it’s being done gradually nobody seems to care enough to stop it.

First it was four teams in the CL, then it was a bigger share of prize money depending on your country, then it was automatic qualification for the 4th placed teams at the expense of champions from smaller countries who have to battle through more and more qualifying rounds, and the next cycle has teams qualifying just based on their coefficients even if they miss out.

Ideally this would act as a catalyst to revert some of those changes and make the playing field fairer again, but that’s never going to happen.

Should these clubs be punished for trying to take the yankee dollar? Let's wait and see.

But let's look closer to home...

We've been bled dry by an American hedge fund for a few years now, some tried to protest, most just bent over and took it.

To the Chelsea supporters that blocked the road last night and stopped thier own teams bus from moving I applaud you 👏

27 American hedge funders own us, twenty fùcking seven.

Think about it.
