New Manager

Even in the highly unlikely event that he goes an unbelievable run of 4 wins on the bounce the club should still resist. I don't think we can afford to appoint a first time manager. The honeymoon period will end.
If he wins the next four games, I'll be amazed and his name should remain in the mix when you consider the opponents.

No way should we appoint Sheezy before the end of the season.
Even then it should only be after a thorough search and Sheehan would interview alongside the rest of the candidates. It was different owners then, but hopefully someone at the club has pointed out the potential similarities with Monk getting the job permanently.

He “earned the right to wear the suit”.

Worra pillock.

Won't happen, but if it does we need to avoid the pitfall that the scum always suffer. Steve Morrison comes to mind.

If Sheehan wins against the likes of Burnley, Leeds and Middlesborough we'd be foolish not to consider him of the gig on a full time basis.
100%

Even if he comes out of those 3 games with 5 points then he would arguably deserve to be considered strongly.

You know my concerns though.

If he wins all those games, Real Madrid will be kicking Ancelotti out on his arse to replace him with Sheehan.

This is precisely the type of negativity our Club nor our proper fans need right now.

With all due respect Chiefo you don't strike me as a go-getting high achiever, so maybe dial down your constant, tiresome gloom 'n doom.

Meritocracy rules, always.

Let the games begin....... exciting times........

What I will say is let’s just see how performances and players reactions in these next few games we have with Sheehan, if we see a continuation of the effort and desire they showed against Blackburn a team who were 5th in the league at the time and our first points against a top 6 team this season, then Sheehan will deserve his name thrown in the hat for the efforts of the 2 interim spells he’s had, let’s hope it’s another postive week for us.

Seems some are very concerned at the prospect of the club going on a great run under Sheehan. Bit weird.

Agree totally.

There has been a pretty significant 10 day gap between the Blackburn game and tomorrow's game against Preston. After that the games will be coming thick and fast and we will see what proof there is in the pudding.

It's a highly predictable trait of a certain type of marginal, bitter 'n twisted poster - fortunately they are now on the wane, discarded and almost forgotten through their constant gloom, doom and all things anti-Club.

The key is to keep highlighting their toxicity, 'til they are no more.........just like with Martin-Williams.
