And how do you respond if "a few decent results" means he wins all the other games preceding the international break, how do you respond if all of those games were performances that left a feel good factor about the team in the same way that the Blackburn game was?
Am I saying that he will sweep all before him and crush every side that takes to the field against us? No. But making a judgement negatively after one game is just as absurd as rushing to make a judgement positively. He basically has what can be looked reasonably as an "audition" where he will have been in charge of the side for a month give or take by the time the international window ends.
Seeing how he has influenced the players, how the atmosphere on the training ground is and how that translates on the pitch will all be critical parts of said audition just as much if not more so than any conversation or interview.
