The truth in all of this is, it doesn't really matter who gets the job, their Tories so their a bunch of c*nts no matter what, so don't matter who gets the gig

That's exactly what I was thinking as I was reading through ECB's Hateful Eight. 🤮

I thought the only saving grace was that Mogg and Patel weren't standing but trying to choose the least unpalatable from those that are is difficult.

Hoping Penny gets in. At least it'll be someone pleasant to look at.
Shallow ? Yes, but c mon guys, yer thinking the same ;)

It matters if you want to get rid of them , which is why I hope they go for truss

Any one of them who was in Boris's cabinet for the past two years should be in prison for corporate manslaughter after killing thousands of residents in care homes by allowing covid sufferers to be discharged from hospitals into care homes without testing.
Matt Hancock said they'd placed a 'protective ring' around care homes, the lying, snivelling little fecker.

A good example of 'beauty' s only skin deep' then.

And let's stamp out this 'Penny' business please, call her Mordaunt. 'Boris' made the c*nt sound much nicer than he was so let's not go down the same road with her. I always called him Johnson and likewise she'll anyways be Mordaunt to me.

I think Truss or Sunak would be a gift for labour. Jenkins in the Grauniad has got the Sunak thing totally wrong imo.

THey all look a disaster for the country. All 10 ambulance services in crisis, patients in extreme heat queued outside A&E for 10 hours....yeah, lets cut taxes. W*nkers.

Of the list, I am told by a semi reliable source that Mordaunt and Tugboat in their jobs, if not in public, at least get on top of their briefs and try to be less dogmatic. Hunt is really a total Hunt and the rest are just chancers that should be nowhere near anything. Braverman, Badenoch and Zahawi...Christ...I'm surprised Grant Shats and his half dozen alter egos didn't make it.

As a Labour member I'm hoping for Truss or Sunak. Tom Tugenhadt is the only one who I think would worry me.

The Hateful Eight is now the Sinister Six. Hunt and Zahawi out. Braverman only just scraped through. If Braverman had a lick of sense she’d withdraw and throw her support behind fellow Trumpian lunatic Badenoch. She probably won’t of course because she’s thick as mince. It will probably doom them both, which is fine to anyone sensible of course.

A disappointing showing from Truss, the darling of perverted male pensioners everywhere and apparently the second coming of Thatcher to those who clearly know nothing about what Thatcher stood for. Tom Tugenwhatsit probably surprised himself by getting about 36 more votes than anyone expected.

Sunak and Mordaunt out front but the Daily Mail is campaigning against Rishi which probably means he’s doomed when it gets to Tory members to whom the Mail is their Bible.

I wonder how Mourdant's cabinet would stack up

Looks like they’ve voted out their stalking horse early. This could get very messy.

Round up the usual suspects.

A polling company today asked people how much they know about a number of Conservative MPs.

5% said they “know a great deal” about Suella Braverman, Kemi Badenoch and Tom Tugenhadt respectively.
6% said they “know a great deal” about Stewart Lewis.

Stewart Lewis doesn’t exist.

Consider this for a moment.
A temporary windfall tax on energy providers and financial institutions which will raise £6 billion over two years and which will fund -
Train journey subsidies for all commuter tickets nationally which will be free between September and December
1 million free scholarships for young people
A new digital skills programme for young people
A new national centre for public health to coordinate the fight against covid
12,000 new affordable homes to be built in the capital, 60% of which will be in public ownership
Investment in new fire fighting personnel and equipment to counter the effects of global warming
New support for the agricultural sector
New programmes to fight corruption and sexual exploitation

This is on top of a mandatory petrol/diesel subsidy for EVERYONE of 18p per litre, government enforced since April.
Electricity subsidies in the form of a cap on the price of gas for power generation and the reduction of VAT on electricity bills, the latest to 2.5%.

Is this some wish list to be implemented by one of the Tory leadership candidates? Is it feck. This is the program of a REAL government, here in Spain, the above measures announced by President Pedro Sanchez two days ago in parliament, and the bottom two items having been in place for four months already. This is the government of the Spanish socialist party. They make Boris and his shitshow look like the total disaster and laughing stock of the world it is.
By the way, my monthly electricity bill has been coming in at about 75 euros per month (£65 ish pounds per month) for several months now, for a three bedroom villa with an electric boiler, a swimming pool pump and airco to run. How's yours?
